STEM CURRICULUM

AFRICA’S FUTURE DEPENDS ON STEM EDUCATION!

STEM curriculum implements project-based learning at all grade levels. Students carry out appropriate grade level activities and make presentations and final projects related to
the topic of study.  Students are presented with numerous opportunities to learn and practice 21st-century skills namely communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity.

LEADERSHIP ACADEMY EXPERIENCE

At STEM International we follow the highly reputed leadership curriculum LEADER IN ME from the FranklinCovey Institute. Content from The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People is a key component of the overall Leader in Me process. 7 habits namely; Being proactive, begin with the end in mind, think win-win, seek first to understand before being understood, first things first, synergy and sharpen the saw are at the core of the Leadership program- The Influence Program.

STEM International School offers this program for students from 3yrs to 12th grade.  This student-oriented institution prepares young minds for effective leadership in the 21st century through hands-on learning.  Business, political, and educational leaders are increasingly asking schools to teach students skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, creativity, and collaboration. Such skills are often referred to as “21st century skills” essential to any future leaders.

To this end STEM International - an American STEM and Leadership Curriculum Home school finds its Mission.
