ELEMENTARY MIDDLE AT STEM INTERNATIONAL

Middle school students, also known as Tweens in some parts of the world, are a very interesting lot of young people who are constantly facing changes from different spectrums of their lives. These young minds have two main desires that they aim at fulfilling; namely the need for increased independence as well as the increased desire for meaningful interaction with peers and adults other than their parents.

STEM international perfectly understands this concept and ensures that the tweens have an easier time adjusting and going through this phase. STEM provides an environment that involves and challenges the students, which gives them a sense of independence and at the same time still makes them feel the care, support, and guidance they desire. This is accomplished very effectively through the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens.

Students that are academically able, enjoy high school Algebra 1 and English 1 as early as 8th grade. These classes when completed are credited to their high school graduation requirements.

These skills prepare the student for thinking the STEM way.

AFRICA’S FUTURE DEPENDS ON STEM EDUCATION!

“…Coming to STEM International school every morning is the highlight of my day as it is an amazing place to be. Each day with the children is always a new fulfilling experience. I love drama and dancing and I currently teach the Middle school and some high school courses, namely World Geography and US History . I also help  coordinate in the performance art department.  I enjoy the sciences and arts which I have taught to children of various age groups over the past fifteen years…”
